It is night… the rain tinkles to the ground. It completely covers the road and then slides into the one lonely grit. The fluorescent lights shine upon the wet tarmac making it blaze to our eyes. The traffic islands look like small ships avoiding car like sharks. The only house hid in the shadows like a felonious criminal. From the right angle, the lamp posts lights look like bright orange eyes. A boulder-like bush stood on the corner of the street waiting for something. The road markings look like a broken ladder leading up to something.
